Shock! High School Basketball Player Wes Leonard Dies After Game-Winning Shot. Wes Leonard, a 16-year-old high school's star basketball player from Michican collapsed on the court and later died after making a game-winning layup in overtime to lift Fennville High School to a 57-55 win over Bridgman High School. His cause of death has not yet been determined.Wes Leonard is not the first one who dies from sport palying. He is the second of Fennville athlete to die in 14 months. Wrestler Nathaniel Hernandez, 14-year-old, died in January 2010 after suffering a seizure at home following his participation in a high school wrestling match.
The Official should wake up and take action immediately. Such a very sad news and I've to condolence to Wes Leonard family and his classmates.
