For today is an important day in history of Texas that declare independence from Mexico. The Texas Declaration of Independence was made on 1 March 1836 and was declared on 2 March 1986. The Texas Declaration of Independence was produced, literally, overnight. Since then today was an offical holiday for Texas in celebrating the state for being independence from Mexico.
